As a writer, Talise had a vision when she got to college: She would finish her novel by graduation using the tools and insight given to her by incredible professors to create an amazing story. Instead, she found herself burnt out for 4 years and unable to write a single paragraph.

When she graduated, she took a huge risk by taking a year off to focus on her wellness and reconnect with her creativity. At the beginning of 2020, she had no idea that by the end of the year she’d be a full time creativity coach helping her clients move through the mental blocks that stop them from making their art.

In this episode we discuss:

  • How to stop being burnt out (and how to prevent it in the future!)
  • Setting boundaries with yourself and your work
  • How to nurture yourself through the creative process
  • Great book recommendations for 2021
